Trust is the only thing IE adds. It adds it carefully.

The platform does one check and one check only: that you are who you say you are. Everything after that is between alumni.

What IE is responsible for, and what it is not.

IE Alumni Launchpad is a noticeboard run by the alumni community. IE University verifies that each member holds an IE email address. It does not evaluate the projects, the people or the terms. It does not invest, broker, or receive any part of any investment. Any agreement you reach with another member is yours alone.
